The TradeMark East Africa Challenge Fund (TRAC) is a project funded by TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) aimed at boosting economic growth and regional trades in the East African Community (EAC) and the region’s trade with the rest of the world through innovative projects.
We support businesses, service providers and organisations from the private sector and civil society.
TRAC is based in Nairobi and has representatives in Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.
It is open to proposals from all EAC nations. Innovative projects, proposed by private firms that have the potential to boost cross-border and international trade will be eligible for funding.
Projects that also benefit a large / huge number of people and promote climate resilience and environment sustainability will be given preference.
Women owned or managed businesses are particularly encouraged to apply.
